These checks describe what is in the model. They do not confirm that rates or assumptions have been reviewed. Starter templates include example values.

Start with a flow
Map how work moves
Add Start, the work steps, and Finish. Use Split / Sort and Merge for branches, or Storage for inventory between steps.
Keep the first version simple. Facility drawings and Comments provide context; they do not add throughput.

Review step assumptions
Set process rates and availability
Select a step to edit its rate, uptime, staffing, and unit in the Inspector. Use the same unit throughout connected steps and the Plan.
Storage has separate input and output rates and uptimes. Enter its capacity and current inventory as well.

Connect the path
Connect and check transfers
Turn on Connect, then select a source and target step. Select a connector to set transfer capacity, uptime, routing, Length, and Speed.
Travel time can reduce deliveries within the remaining shift even when the steady flow rate is high enough.

Enter your plan
Set the target and time available
In Plan, enter total units, completed units, elapsed time, and shift hours. Add available headcount when labor should constrain the estimate.
Required Rate uses the remaining work and time. Check the unit and replace any sample values before relying on the result.

Review the model checks
Review Results and the report
Compare Estimated Throughput with Required Rate and Gap to Plan. Read the bottleneck, Next Best Fix, and model warnings.
When travel time matters, check delivered pace as well as steady throughput. Operation Report brings the findings and export controls together.

Compare a change
Test a scenario
Save the current flow and mark a baseline. In Scenarios, compare a change in volume, staffing, rate, uptime, or available time.
A temporary what-if lets you compare before committing a change. Review the difference and reset the comparison when finished.

Save applied test adds its calculated version to the library. Load that saved scenario when you want to use it as your working flow.
