What OmniPlan Is Designed to Solve
OmniPlan is the planned daily throughput and resource planning release for Aislewise. It is designed around a common warehouse execution question: what can we realistically finish with the people, time, volume, and process rates available today?
Many legacy planning methods answer that question too late. Spreadsheets can estimate labor needs, but they often require manual updates during the shift. Static dashboards can report what happened, but they may not show what is still possible. Informal floor math can move quickly, but it is difficult to standardize across supervisors, shifts, and sites.
OmniPlan is intended to give teams a faster operating view of the day. It is designed to sit beside the Aislewise Operations Flow Capacity Planner. The flow planner shows where the process constraint may appear. OmniPlan is planned to translate the day into remaining units, required pace, labor coverage, and recovery options.
Expected use cases include:
- Daily warehouse volume planning
- End-of-shift recovery decisions
- Labor coverage checks
- Required pace calculations
- Supervisor shift reviews
- Fulfillment planning conversations
- Planning tradeoffs when volume, labor, or hours change
The intended value is simple: help operations teams understand what is still achievable before the shift is over.
For example, if the team is behind plan, OmniPlan is expected to help frame the recovery question more clearly. Do we need more labor? More time? A lower target? A rate improvement at a specific step? Or is the plan no longer realistic based on the remaining hours?
That is different from a legacy spreadsheet review, where the team may spend more time reconciling numbers than deciding what to do next.
Because OmniPlan is not released yet, this description should be treated as roadmap context, not a product guarantee. The product direction is focused on practical daily throughput planning for warehouse and fulfillment teams that need a clearer view of remaining work, required pace, and available resources.
